This Finoserv accessibility statement applies to finoserv.com. We want everyone to be able to read, navigate and use the website, including people who use assistive technology.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and is the reference standard used by most accessibility laws and policies.
We consider the website partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Partially conformant means that some content does not yet fully meet the standard. The known issues are listed below.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML, with one main heading per page, a logical heading order, landmarks and a skip link to the main content.
- Make every function usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and no keyboard traps.
- Meet WCAG contrast ratios for text and interface elements in both light and dark themes.
- Give meaningful images text alternatives, and hide decorative images from screen readers.
- Label every form field, explain required fields and formats, and describe errors in text with a suggestion to fix them.
- Support zoom up to 400% and narrow screens without horizontal scrolling or loss of content.
- Keep interactive targets large enough to tap, at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels.
- Respect the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system or browser, so animations are reduced or removed.
- Provide captions for videos with speech, and never start audio automatically.
- Write in plain language with short paragraphs, and expand abbreviations on first use.
- Let you set cookie choices and use the contact form with a keyboard and a screen reader.
We check pages with automated testing tools and manual testing, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader checks, before we publish major changes.
Known issues
- Some third-party logos are images. Each has a text alternative with the company or network name, but the text in the image itself cannot be resized or restyled.
Motion on the website is limited and is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Compatibility
The website is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers and screen readers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
Feedback and help
If you find a barrier, or need information from the website in another format, email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject. Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and assistive technology you use, if any.
We aim to acknowledge your message within 2 business days and to give a full response, or a plan and timeline, within 10 business days.
Legal framework
Several laws refer to digital accessibility, depending on where a website's users and its owner are. They include the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), applied by EU member states from June 28, 2025 to certain products and services; the Americans with Disabilities Act in the United States; the Equality Act 2010 in Great Britain; and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in Ontario, Canada. We use WCAG 2.2 AA as our common target across all editions.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant equality or accessibility body in your country.
