Agency banking software lets a licensed bank or mobile money provider serve customers through local agents, such as shopkeepers and pharmacies, in places where a branch would not pay its way. Finoserv designs, builds, integrates and runs that software. The bank or provider holds the licence, sets the agent rules and remains responsible for the services agents offer. Our job is to make those services work reliably on a phone in a village shop.
Branchless banking that works on the ground
Agents work with patchy connectivity, low-cost devices and customers who may be opening their first account. We design for that: offline queues that sync when signal returns, simple screens in local languages, receipts by SMS, and transaction limits the bank sets by agent tier. Cash in, cash out, account opening, transfers and bill payments sit in one agent app, which can also run on the Android terminals used in our POS solution for banks.
Agent network management
A network of agents needs float, commission and oversight. We build agent and super agent onboarding, float monitoring with rebalancing alerts, commission calculation and payout, and dashboards that show activity, liquidity and unusual patterns for the bank's risk team.
eKYC solution and digital onboarding
Opening an account at an agent should be quick and leave a clean record. Where national ID systems support it, we integrate eKYC through the bank's approved vendor, with biometric or one-time passcode checks. Where they do not, we build assisted digital onboarding with document capture and review queues for the bank's compliance staff, who make the final decision.
Mobile money platform and microfinance software
For licensed mobile money providers, we build wallets, person-to-person transfers, merchant payments and links to bank accounts. For microfinance institutions and self-help groups, we build group lending, savings, meeting-day collections and loan tracking, with field officer apps that work offline and sync at the end of the day.
Delivery and running
Discover takes two to four weeks and covers the bank's core, the ID systems available, devices and agent rules. It ends in a fixed quote. Rollouts usually start with a pilot region and widen once agents and operations teams are comfortable. Governments paying benefits through agents can connect this to a government payment platform. After launch, our managed operations team can run agent support and reconciliation alongside the bank's own staff.
